Humorist Rasheed Thurmond on Awful Young men of parody. Rasheed Thurmond died Nov. ’07 evidently of a cardiovascular failure, he was 36yrs old. Born in East New York, Thurmond and his four kin were brought up in a Vermont Blvd. house by his harsh dad, who filled in as a train guide, and his mom, who functioned as a symbolic representative. “He began satire at 5 years old,” reviewed his mom, Elizabeth Thurmond, 61. “My companion feared mousetraps, and when he found out, he would continuously place one in her pocket.
